Needler Crystal Study (Subanese Crystal)

Heyooo, This is just a small project I wanted to work on. Nobody really has ever done a study of the needler crystals from the Halo series, so I thought why not? This was supposed to be a quartz study but a friend of mine said it'd be cool if I could make the gemstones look like the needler crystals, so I rode with it. Big shout out to Jake Maas here on Artstation for giving me his model to mess with, please check out his portfolio it's really damn cool! But yeah Glow effects and Chromatic Aberration and DoF were added in Nuke and was rendered with mental ray. As always C&C are welcome!
